The Franciscans of Divine Providence
is expanding world-wide.. We currently have members and Missions in: Connecticut , Texas, North Carolina,
California, Vermont, Minnesota and the Countries of Mexico and Costa Rica. We are always looking for new
ways and places to spread the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ in the
spirit of our Fraternal Father, Saint Francis.

Brother
Curtis is an active Deacon at New Life Metropolitan Community Church in
Charlotte and assists in Hispanic Ministry. He is a member of the New
Life Choir. Through Br. Curtis and his New Life family the church of Our
Lady of Guadalupe in the small village of Los Amates, Guerrero Mexico
was refurbished and financial aid was sent to buy Roman Catholic
Catechism books for the children. Assistance is on-going.

Brother Anthony is married and lives in Frisco TX. He served in the Military and has a background in Hospital Chaplaincy. He was commissioned as a Eucharistic Minister for our
Church and prior to becoming a Brother with our Order was a Third Order
Secular Franciscan.

Brother Gabriel is active in his local parish of San Antonio de
Padua. He is a Catechist in his local parish and some of the outlying
villages. He is preparing to be named an Extraordinary Minister of the
Word to assist his local parish priest in pastoral duties to some of the
remote and indigenous villages. He is also on the St. David Committee
working to build devotion to his great uncle St. David Uribe Velasco,
canonized by the Roman Pontiff John Paul II and establish the parish
church as a recognized and visited Sanctuary. The blessed relics of St.
David rest in the church of San Antonio de Padua.

Brother Robert is a bright and articulate young man
who is eager to serve the people of God and to begin his life as a
Franciscan. He is active in Social Justice Ministries and has a penchant
and heart for working with the elderly.

Brother
Jay is married and lives with his wife and 2 children in Eagan, MN . He
is a musician by training and currently is the Director of Music
and Liturgy at Annunciation parish in Minneapolis. Previously Br. Jay
was an Affiliate Member of the FSPA
(Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration) and has experience in
Medical Missions.

Brother William is married to a
school principal and has a rising teenage daughter. Br. William is
a social work supervisor for Butte County Adult Protective
Services, located about 3 hours north of the Golden Gate Bridge
and San Francisco. He serves on a hospital ethics committee and
also as a religious care giver at another local hospital. He
attends an open and affirming United Methodist Church and is the
chair of the worship committee.
